چکیده
We study accretion disk-corona connection in Seyfert 1 galaxies using simultaneous UV/X-ray observations of NGC 4593 (July 14-18, 2016) and 7469 (October 15-19, 2017) performed with AstroSat. use the X-ray (0.5-7.0 keV) data acquired Soft Telescope (SXT) UV (FUV: 130-180 nm, NUV: 200-300 nm) obtained Ultra-Violet Imaging (UVIT). also contemporaneous Swift demonstrate AstroSat's capability for X-ray/UV correlation studies. cross-correlation analysis Interpolated Discrete Cross-Correlation Functions found similar results. Frequency - dependent time lags in the X - ray emission of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 7469
We report the discovery of time lags in the cross-spectra of the X-ray light curves of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 7469. This behavior is common in Galactic black hole and neutron star binaries, and is in the sense that harder X-rays are delayed with respect to the soft with a time lag approximately proportional to the Fourier period. At the longest period probed by our observation (∼ 6 days) we fin...
متن کاملEnergy Dependent Time Lags in the Seyfert 1 Galaxy Ngc 4593
We investigate the energy-time lag dependence of the source NGC 4593 using XMM-Newton/EPIC-pn data. We found that the time lag dependency is linear in nature with respect to the logarithm of different energy bands. We also investigate the frequency dependent time lags and identify that at some frequency range (5 × 10−5 Hz – 2 × 10−4 Hz) the X-ray emission is highly coherent, mildly frequency de...

متن کاملBimodal dust emission in three classical Seyfert galaxies : NGC 3227 , NGC 4051 and NGC 4151 ?
Far Infrared observations of the Seyfert galaxies NGC 3227, NGC 4051 and NGC 4151 are presented. These are the first data from a complete sample of Seyfert galaxies that is being observed by ISO as part of the ISOPHOT guaranteed time. The new ISO data, in combination with the IRAS data, show that the mid to far IR emission in all three objects can be ascribed to two well defined regimes, namely...
متن کاملThe complex 0 . 1 – 200 keV spectrum of the Seyfert 1 Galaxy NGC 4593
We report on the first observation of the Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 4593 in the 0.1–200 keV band, performed with the BeppoSAX observatory. Its spectral components are for the first time simultaneously measured: a power-law with photon spectral index Γ ' 1.9; the Compton-reflection of the primary power-law; a moderately broad (σ > 60 eV) Kα fluorescent line from neutral iron; and an absorption edge, ...
